Job summary

Essentia Inc. in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Senior Director of Construction to lead multi-market fiber deployment across FTTH, Metro, and Long-Haul programs.

You will translate the national strategy into regional execution, own the P&L, drive safety and quality, and develop Directors of Construction to scale leadership across markets. You’ll partner with Engineering, Broadband Solutions, and Customer Operations to standardize processes, optimize margins, and deliver on-time, within-budget

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in telecom construction or fiber deployment.
• 5+ years leading multi-market field teams.
• Proven track record running two+ markets with $30M–$75M+ annual volume.
• Direct P&L ownership across a region.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with aerial and underground fiber construction and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Translate national strategy into standardized regional operating plans.
• Own P&L, forecasting, and margin for your portfolio.
• Standardize execution, playbooks, and reporting cadence.
• Directly manage and develop Directors of Construction.
• Oversee multi-market fiber deployment, safety and quality.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Broadband Solutions, and Customer Operations.
