Job summary

Omni Fiber LLC Market Engineering Lead is responsible for end-to-end design and delivery for assigned markets, directing vendor-produced designs and tracking changes. This role serves as the primary technical contact between engineering, Construction, and Permitting/PMO, with regular travel required for market-specific site knowledge and business planning.

It is a full-time opportunity reporting to the Director of Market Engineering.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in fiber/OSP design or project management.
• Experience in a high-volume FTTH environment preferred.
• Proficient with GIS/Esri and CAD-based design tools; VETRO a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to make and defend technical design decisions independently.
• Willing to travel for market-site visits and planning meetings.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end input and output for assigned market from design direction to handoff.
• Direct vendors on cost, routing, and constructability tradeoffs.
• Coordinate with Construction and Permitting/PMO on sequencing and design changes.
• Track market sequencing, scope changes, and performance metrics.
