Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Director of Corporate Development to shape inorganic growth through M&A and strategic partnerships. You will own the deal lifecycle from sourcing to post-close integration, coordinating with finance, legal, and product leaders.

The role requires 6–10 years in relevant fields, exceptional financial modeling, and strong negotiation and communication skills, with an MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in investment banking, VC, growth equity, or corporate development at a leading tech company.
• Exceptional financial modeling and valuation skills; deep experience with negotiation and deal structuring.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate complex analyses clearly and concisely.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end M&A process, from sourcing potential deals to negotiating and closing transactions.
• Conduct comprehensive market assessments to identify acquisition targets and trends.
• Develop financial models to project cash flows and revenue impacts for potential acquisitions.
• Drive post-merger integration planning with stakeholders to ensure value capture.
• Prepare and present materials for executive and board-level audiences.
