Apartment List is seeking a Director of Lifecycle Marketing to own how we engage millions of renters and shape lifecycle strategy across the marketplace. This is a builder's seat with high growth potential, shifting from high-volume sends to segmented, personalized, forecast-driven programs.

You'll lead a small team, stand up a lifecycle partnerships program, and ensure alignment with data science, analytics, and engineering to drive revenue and retention across brands.

Qualifikationen

• 9+ years in lifecycle, engagement, or email marketing with enterprise automation platform experience.
• Deep B2C experience focusing on renter lifecycle within a marketplace.
• Hands-on builder who can create programs from the ground up and lead through influence.
• Self-sufficient in SQL with data-driven mindset and strong analytical skills.
• Strong technical fluency with data feeds, events, APIs, and HTML/CSS for email.
• Proven leader capable of developing marketers and balancing performance, risks, and tradeoffs.
• Marketplace or two-sided dynamics experience is highly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Set the vision for lifecycle and redesign end-to-end lifecycle across the renter lifecycle.
• Modernize the program with data science and ML to drive relevance and personalization.
• Build a partnerships program from scratch and design cross-sell across brands.
• Establish foundation to support a multi-brand portfolio and scale new brands.
• Define strategy across email, push, and SMS with revenue, volume forecasts, and budget.
• Advance segmentation and forecast-driven sends, balancing revenue, deliverability, and user experience.
• Drive experiments, measurement, and learning to guide future investments.
• Lead analytics with Marketing Analytics and MarTech teams and run deep dives.
• Build and troubleshoot journeys, templates, and audience logic; self-serve in SQL.
• Manage a two-person team and align with senior leadership on priorities.
