Lumanity is seeking a Director of Business Development to expand our footprint in the life sciences sector. You will cultivate high-impact relationships, identify new opportunities, and position Lumanity's capabilities to meet client needs in commercial consulting, brand communications, and patient engagement.

You will lead strategic business development efforts, collaborate with practice leaders, and manage complex procurement cycles.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of business development experience within the life sciences sector.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical operations and procurement processes.
• Proven ability to cultivate and maintain relationships within the life sciences industry.
• Strong analytical skills to assess client needs, market conditions, and competitive positioning.
• Client-focused mindset with strong listening skills.
• Ability to identify challenges and lead solution-oriented discussions.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to bring together the right skills to solve client challenges.

Responsibilities

• New Business Development: identify and develop new business opportunities across commercial capabilities.
• Client Relationship Management: maintain regular contact with client stakeholders and strengthen partnerships.
• Opportunity Coordination: align teams, navigate procurement processes, track opportunities in CRM.
• Market and Industry Insight: stay informed on trends and client needs to pursue high-potential opportunities.
