Job summary

MetLife is seeking a Director of Internal Communications for Global Technology & Operations (GTO). You will develop and execute strategies that inform, engage, and connect employees across the GTO organization, working with leaders to translate tech priorities into clear messaging.

You will lead editorial planning, craft leadership communications, and drive programs that build understanding and engagement during key technology and business moments, with a hands-on, collaborative leadership style.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in internal communications, corporate communications, or employee engagement.
• Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills across channels; translate complex topics into clear employee comms.
• Strategic communications counsel; partner with senior leaders and cross-functional colleagues.
• Editorial planning, project management in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal communications plans for GTO priorities and leadership objectives.
• Draft and deliver leadership messages, employee updates, intranet stories, talking points and presentation content.
• Collaborate with GTO leaders and colleagues to simplify technology, operations, data, security topics and guide one direct report.
• Manage editorial planning and channel coordination for milestones and periods of change.
• Leverage feedback and analytics to strengthen internal comms and improve engagement over time.
