MetLife is seeking a Director, Internal Communications for Global Technology & Operations (GTO) to develop and execute messaging that informs and engages employees across the organization. The role partners with GTO leaders to translate technology and data priorities into clear communications.

Qualifications

• Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex topics into clear employee communications.
• Experience providing strategic communications counsel and partnering with senior leaders.
• Ability to manage and develop communications talent with clarity and judgment.
• Strong editorial planning and project management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal communications plans that support GTO priorities and leadership objectives.
• Draft and deliver content across internal channels, including leadership messages, employee updates, intranet stories, talking points, town hall materials and presentations.
• Partner with GTO leaders to simplify complex technology topics and guide one direct report in delivering high-quality work.
• Manage editorial planning and channel coordination for timely and aligned communications during milestones and change.
• Use feedback and analytics to strengthen internal communications and engagement over time.
