MetLife is seeking a Director of Internal Communications for Global Technology & Operations (GTO) to shape and execute strategies that inform, engage, and connect employees across the organization. You will partner with GTO leaders to translate technology priorities into clear messaging and oversee day-to-day planning and execution for key GTO initiatives.

You will craft leadership communications, simplify complex topics, and manage an editorial calendar while guiding a direct report to deliver

Qualifications

• Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills with ability to translate complex topics into clear employee communications.
• Strategic communications counsel to senior leaders and cross-functional partners; develop and mentor talent.
• Strong editorial planning, cross-channel content management, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal communications plans supporting GTO priorities and leadership objectives.
• Draft clear, engaging content across channels including leadership messages and town hall materials.
• Partner with GTO leaders and colleagues to simplify complex topics and guide a direct report in delivering high-quality work.
• Manage editorial planning and channels to align with milestones and changes.
• Use feedback and analytics to strengthen communications and improve engagement.
