Job summary

HDR seeks a senior leader for Integrated Watershed Management. The role directs technical capabilities, coordinates across market sectors and regions, and drives risk management and quality assurance. You will mentor technical leaders and shape long-term strategic plans for HDR’s service lines.

You will interact with client needs, proposals, and project pursuits to elevate HDR’s position in the industry while upholding our employee-owned culture. Significant travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field.
• Professional or Architecture/Engineering registration required for technical design leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Build close working relationships with related business classes, market sectors and operations.
• Lead technical risk management through process and resource reviews and maintain quality standards.
• Drive quality assurance and control processes and coordinate with the Quality Manager.
• Oversee development and application of technical tools, standards, and techniques to enhance service quality.
• Work with market sector directors to develop strategic plans for the business class.
