Qualifications

• Requires a registered nurse or a Masters level degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• Two years practical experience, preferably in the psychiatric/mental health field.
• Two years supervisory experience in an admissions setting or office management.
• Must have an understanding of DSM V and the application to psychiatric and/or chemical dependence service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee personnel management for assessment and referral staff, including orientation and evaluations.
• Maintain intake call, assessment and administrative documentation.
• Manage FTE standards and department budget.
• Develop and implement policies for assessments and referrals.
• Ensure 24/7 on-call coverage.
• Ensure releases are completed on all admissions.
• Improve patient satisfaction scores for assessment.
• Compile paperwork and maintain records.
• Respond to support codes per annual training.
