Job summary
Hospital for Behavioral Medicine in Worcester, MA is seeking a Director of Intake & Assessment to lead the coordination of patient assessments and admissions. You will work with clinicians and leadership to ensure smooth intake and discharge planning.
Qualified candidates have a Graduate Degree, at least two years in acute psychiatric intake with supervisory experience, and MA licensure eligibility; knowledge of DSM and Mental Status Exam is required.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree required in a human field or psychiatric advanced nursing.
- Two or more years’ intake assessment experience in acute-psychiatric settings with supervisory experience.
- Licensed eligible in Massachusetts; knowledge of DSM and Mental Status Exam.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate assessments of incoming patients with A&R counselors.
- Coordinate doctor’s assessments and initiate admission processes.
- Provide technical assistance to discharge planning; work with clinical leadership and community.
- Ensure intake/log completion and pre-certification as per policy.
