Job summary

Institute on Aging is seeking a Director of Institutional Giving to lead IOA's corporate, foundation, and government fundraising efforts. You will oversee the Grants Manager, shape a growth strategy, and partner with program leaders to secure and renew major grants and corporate sponsorships.

You'll work with leadership to articulate IOA's impact, develop competitive proposals, and cultivate relationships with funders.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in philanthropy.
• Proven success in securing major gifts and cultivating donors.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills.
• Strong organizational and strategic planning abilities with attention to detail.
• Deep commitment to IOA’s mission; healthcare/nonprofit experience preferred.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive institutional giving strategy across corporate, foundation, and government funding.
• Own and grow a portfolio of funders through all fundraising cycles.
• Supervise the Grants Manager and coordinate proposals and reports.
• Translate program impact into compelling funding proposals and reports.
• Act as IOA spokesperson with institutional funders and partners.
