Purpose of Position

The Director, Inside Sales will lead the inside sales team with a focus on acquiring new and prospective customers. This leadership role requires talent development, KPI-driven sales management, and fostering a high-energy, growth-oriented team culture.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute strategies for new business leads and opportunities to meet sales goals, including quotas and revenue growth initiatives.
  2. Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new customer prospects and innovative strategies.
  3. Define and monitor sales KPIs, track performance, and implement improvement strategies.
  4. Educate the team on the sales cycle and develop targeted sales campaigns.
  5. Inspire and retain top talent by fostering a supportive, high-performance environment.
  6. Champion Salesforce initiatives for optimal team output.
  7. Coach and develop Sales Consultants in sales strategies, presentation skills, and product knowledge.
  8. Manage leads, track pipeline, and achieve sales targets.
  9. Collaborate with other Sales Directors on team development programs.
  10. Ensure communication and transparency within the sales territories.
  11. Travel as needed to support team goals and recruitment.

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Pilots License or aviation industry experience preferred

Minimum Experience

  • 10+ years in direct sales
  • Experience in account management with proven success in customer acquisition and revenue growth
  • Experience in performance management with sales KPIs

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to interact professionally across management levels
  • Adaptability to changing schedules and high-pressure situations
  • Knowledge of management principles and customer service practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems like Salesforce
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Regular use of hands, reaching, communication; may require standing, walking, sitting; vision abilities include viewing monitors and technical documents. Environment typically low to moderate noise.
