Join to apply for the Associate Director, K-12 Inside Sales (2 Year Term Role) at The College Board.

This role is fully remote, with options for hybrid work near CB offices (Tuesday and Wednesday in the office).

About The Team

The State and District Partnerships (SDP) team at College Board is dedicated to expanding opportunities for students by collaborating with educators in high schools, districts, and state departments of education. We promote College Board programs such as the SAT, AP, and BigFuture, aiming to increase access for underserved students.

Role Overview

As Associate Director, K-12 Inside Sales, you will focus on expanding College Board’s presence in small and rural districts across the U.S. by generating new opportunities and responding to leads. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to follow up on prospects, build relationships, and increase program access.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prospecting & Lead Follow-Up (50%)
    • Respond to incoming leads from the website and campaigns.
    • Provide information on SAT and AP programs.
    • Develop a pipeline through outreach, including cold calling and networking.
    • Use data insights to target districts, focusing on underserved areas.
    • Leverage partnerships with state agencies and nonprofits.
  2. Reporting & CRM Management (20%)
    • Track activities in Salesforce, ensuring accurate records.
    • Update leadership on progress and challenges.
  3. Relationship Building (15%)
    • Build trust with district leaders and educators.
    • Understand their challenges and demonstrate program value.
    • Inform about grants and financial incentives.
  4. Sales Outreach & Engagement (15%)
    • Conduct discovery meetings with decision-makers.
    • Present benefits of College Board programs.
    • Collaborate with sales teams to advance prospects.
Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years in education or related fields, experience with assessment, curriculum, or program implementation preferred.
  • Passion for education and commitment to equity.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel 10-20%.
  • Bachelor’s degree and eligibility to work in the U.S.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $60,000 to $105,000, depending on location and experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, parental leave, tuition assistance, retirement plans, and more.
