Job summary

AccentCare is seeking a Director Inpatient Hospice Center, Registered Nurse in Miami. This full-time role leads the IPC team, oversees patient/family care, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards while driving exceptional hospice outcomes.

The position emphasizes clinical leadership, staff development, and coordinating interdisciplinary care to support patients and their families in a compassionate, community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in state(s) practicing. Certified Hospice Nurse is preferred.
• CPR certification is required.
• Minimum three years' hospice/home health or related nursing experience.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all direct patient/family care team members, including nurses, social workers, hospice aides and counselors.
• Ensure patient/family services comply with regulations and professional standards.
• Participate in the selection and evaluation of direct patient/family care team members.
• Participate in staff and volunteer orientation and ongoing education.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary plan of care for each patient/family.
• Ensure 24-hour availability of nursing and psychosocial services and coordinate on-call assignments.
• Conduct interdisciplinary team meetings and maintain documentation.
