Food & Friends, Inc. seeks a Director of Development to lead Individual Philanthropy in Washington, DC. This role will manage a portfolio of 50–75 major and principal gift donors and direct several giving programs, reporting to the Chief Development Officer.

The successful candidate has at least 10 years in individual giving, with 4+ years in gifts of $100k+, CFRE preferred, and strong leadership, communication, and data skills. On-site work is required.

Qualifikationen

• The candidate has 10+ years in broad individual giving with at least 4 years in gifts of $100,000+; CFRE preferred.
• Experience supervising and coaching fundraising professionals.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong computer/database proficiency.

Aufgaben

• Lead and direct individual giving programs (major, principal gifts, planned giving, mid-level, Annual Fund).
• Supervise two giving officers and mentor mid-level staff and vendors.
• Oversee donor portfolio strategy, records, and activity reporting in Raiser's Edge NXT.
• Manage a portfolio of 50-75 major donors to support annual revenue and capital campaign goals.
• Collaborate with CDO, CEO, and board on high-level donor relationships and stewardship plans.
• Lead budget development and provide input on direct marketing and prospecting.
