Job summary

Vitamin Angels is seeking a Director of Individual Giving to build and lead the organization’s first dedicated individual giving program. You will develop systems, donor engagement plans, and a strong donor pipeline while partnering with the Chief Development Officer to set priorities and scale the function.

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of fundraising from individuals.
• Experience launching or expanding an individual giving or major gifts program.
• Proven success securing gifts at $5,000+ and building donor relationships.
• Experience across the donor lifecycle: identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship.
• Ability to turn broad goals into practical plans and follow through.

Responsibilities

• Build the individual giving function and establish foundational processes.
• Develop an initial giving plan with priorities, goals, and a calendar of activities.
• Create prospect identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship workflows.
• Build a donor pipeline with leadership and colleagues.
• Create portfolio management practices and track engagement in Salesforce.
