Vitamin Angels Alliance, Inc. (VA) is seeking a Senior Director of Strategic Philanthropy to lead major foundation fundraising and global philanthropic partnerships.

The role reports to the Chief Development Officer, with initial responsibility for building the Strategic Philanthropy function and one direct report. Remote in the US with Eastern/Central time preference, the position focuses on growing revenue and diversifying funding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 12 years of fundraising experience with 5+ years leading teams.
• Significant foundation/institutional fundraising background with major grants.
• Proven ability to meet revenue goals and grow an institutional portfolio.
• Ability to cultivate senior funder relationships and develop funder reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising from foundations, global alliances, and institutional funders.
• Set and achieve ambitious annual revenue goals with the CDO.
• Oversee full fundraising cycle: prospecting, cultivation, solicitation, renewal.
• Cultivate high-priority funders with long-term partnership strategies.
• Build the Strategic Philanthropy function and expand the team as needed.
• Maintain Salesforce data accuracy for pipeline, activities, and revenue.
