Job summary

Vitamin Angels is seeking a Senior Director of Strategic Philanthropy to lead foundation and institutional fundraising from a home-base in the United States. The role reports to the Chief Development Officer and will build the Strategic Philanthropy function, managing one direct report initially.

You will personally cultivate and steward high-priority funders, develop long-term partnerships, and coordinate with Programs, Finance, and Marketing to advance Vitamin Angels’ mission and Revenue 2030

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of fundraising experience with 5+ years leading teams.
• Significant foundation/institutional fundraising experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of high-value funders.
• Develop strategies for pipeline growth and revenue diversification.
• Oversee proposals, budgets, and funder reporting with cross-functional teams.
• Build and manage Strategic Philanthropy function and team.
• Collaborate with Programs and Finance to reflect full cost of work.
