LogicSource in Greater Houston, TX seeks a Director of Indirect Procurement- Corporate Services to own category strategy, lead center of excellence, and deliver measurable value for clients. This client-facing role coordinates with finance, legal, and business teams while driving supplier performance and transformational change.

The role requires extensive experience in procurement, stakeholder management, and strategic sourcing, with a pragmatic, entrepreneurial mindset and strong communication

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in category management, strategic sourcing, procurement consulting, or outsourced procurement services.
• Proven experience owning category strategy and delivering results in a client-facing or advisory environment.
• Demonstrated success influencing senior-level stakeholders in complex, matrixed environments.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and supporting high-value contract negotiations.
• Diplomacy, consensus-building, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commitment to client service and value creation.
• Polished communicator and presenter in formal and informal settings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel-based financial analysis and PowerPoint presentations.
• Experience driving operational transformation and organizational change management.
• Strong problem-solving, judgment, and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to operate strategically while overseeing execution details.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary strategic category leader and advisor for the client and category.
• Translate client goals into category strategies, value levers, and roadmaps.
• Own development and management of category strategies, market analysis, spend diagnostics, supplier landscape, and risk.
• Lead annual and multi-year category planning with initiatives, savings targets, timelines, and metrics.
• Leverage COE to deliver sourcing events, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Support negotiation strategies, supplier positioning, and complex negotiations.
• Manage category performance, savings, value creation, and service levels; track KPIs.
• Promote best practices and contribute to framework evolution across engagements.
