Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Director of Indirect Procurement & Category Management to lead enterprise-wide indirect procurement activities and category management programs. This role develops sourcing strategies, governs procurement, and drives value creation across spend categories while leading a team of procurement professionals.

The position partners with executive leadership to align strategies with growth, governance, and financial objectives, with a salary range of $140k–$200k annually.

Qualifications

• 10+ years progressive procurement, sourcing, category management, supply chain, or related leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading procurement, sourcing, or category management teams.
• Experience managing enterprise-wide indirect spend programs within healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, distribution, or similarly regulated industries preferred.
• Demonstrated success delivering transformational procurement initiatives and enterprise value creation.
• Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year indirect procurement and category management strategy aligned with objectives and targets.
• Translate priorities into category roadmaps, sourcing plans, supplier strategies, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead procurement planning to optimize total cost of ownership, service levels, and performance.
• Establish governance frameworks, sourcing standards, and procurement policies across the enterprise.
• Lead executive-level supplier relationship management programs and governance forums.
• Drive procurement modernization initiatives, analytics, and process improvements.
• Partner with Finance and other functions to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
