Accendra Health is seeking a Director, Indirect Procurement & Category Management to lead enterprise-wide indirect spend strategy, governance, and supplier management. You will partner with executives to align procurement with growth, risk management, and financial objectives while building a high-performing team.

The role oversees category strategies, supplier relationships, and procurement transformation across healthcare sectors, with a salary range of $140k–$200k per year.

Qualifications

• 10+ years progressive procurement, sourcing, category management, supply chain, or related leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading procurement, sourcing, or category management teams.
• Experience in healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, distribution, or regulated industries preferred.
• Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Expertise in strategic sourcing, contracting, supplier management, procurement technology, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement enterprise-wide indirect procurement and category management strategies.
• Lead category governance, sourcing standards, and procurement policies.
• Oversee supplier relationship management and executive governance forums.
• Partner with finance to support budgeting, forecasting, and working capital goals.
• Drive procurement transformation with digital tools, analytics, and process improvements.
• Lead and develop category management and sourcing teams, fostering an inclusive high-performance culture.
