Job summary

Accendra Health seeks a Director of Indirect Procurement & Category Management to lead enterprise-wide indirect sourcing strategies, governance, and supplier relationships. You will partner with executives to optimize cost, risk, and performance while guiding a high‑performing procurement team.

Responsibilities include developing multi-year strategies, driving category roadmaps, and transforming procurement with digital tools and analytics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years progressive procurement, sourcing, category management, supply chain or related leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading procurement, sourcing, or category management teams.
• Experience in healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, distribution or regulated industries preferred.
• Demonstrated success delivering transformational procurement initiatives and enterprise value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year indirect procurement and category management strategy aligned with objectives and targets.
• Translate priorities into category roadmaps, sourcing plans, supplier strategies, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead procurement planning to optimize total cost of ownership and supplier performance.
• Establish category governance frameworks and procurement policies across the enterprise.
• Oversee strategic management of indirect spend and supplier portfolios.
• Guide development of category strategies informed by market intelligence and stakeholder priorities.
• Ensure category strategies deliver value through cost optimization and risk reduction.
• Champion procurement transformation and best practices across the organization.
• Lead, coach, and develop sourcing teams and foster an inclusive culture.
