Coborn’s, Inc. is seeking a Director in Training to gain hands-on experience leading total store operations and learning from an experienced Store Director.

You’ll learn to make thoughtful business decisions, drive sales and profitability, and build strong teams that create a remarkable guest experience. You’ll be encouraged to take ownership, understand the business beyond daily operations, and grow into a store leader with an owner’s mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years of related experience.
• Supervisory or management experience is preferred.
• Passion for developing people, serving guests, and achieving business results.
• Ability to set clear expectations, lead by example, and hold yourself and others accountable.
• Adaptability, sound judgment, and willingness to learn every area of store operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead total store performance: drive sales, profit, expenses, labor, and guest service goals.
• Develop strong teams: coach department leaders and build employee confidence through feedback.
• Deliver operational excellence: manage merchandising, inventory, pricing, rotation, sanitation, and safety.
• Create a remarkable guest experience by modeling personalized service and organizing a welcoming store.
• Drive merchandising and promotions to support sales and gross profit goals.
• Build leadership capability through hiring, scheduling, retention, and communication.
