Coborn’s is offering a Director in Training program designed to develop future store leaders who own the business mindset. You’ll gain hands-on experience directing total store operations, coaching teams, and driving sales and profitability while learning from an experienced Store Director.

You’ll develop skills in merchandising, guest experience, and leadership development to prepare for a role with an owner’s mindset across Coborn’s family of stores.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and three to five years of related experience.
• Supervisory or management experience is preferred.
• A passion for developing people, serving guests, and achieving business results.
• The ability to set clear expectations, lead by example, and hold yourself and others accountable.
• Adaptability, sound judgment, and a willingness to learn every area of store operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead total store performance toward sales, profit, expense, labor, and guest service goals.
• Develop strong teams by coaching department leaders and providing ongoing feedback.
• Deliver operational excellence across merchandising, inventory, pricing, rotation, and safety.
• Create a remarkable guest experience by modeling personalized service and an inviting store.
• Drive merchandising and promotions to support sales and gross profit goals.
• Build leadership capability through hiring, scheduling, retention, and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and local, state, and federal requirements.
• Stay connected to the work by walking the store and removing barriers.
