Macy’s is seeking a Director, In Store, to lead a team of People Leaders and drive sales, customer experience, and operational excellence across the store environment. You will coach, train, and develop leaders, optimize processes, and partner with Managers to enhance the Macy’s brand and loyalty.

The role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership, and a track record of achieving results in a fast-paced retail setting. The position reports to Store Manager as a developmental step.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 7–10 years retail management experience.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Exchange.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of People Leaders and drive strategy to achieve sales and customer experience goals.
• Analyze store performance and implement action plans for growth.
• Coach and develop leaders to improve selling, operational processes and customer service.
• Plan and execute workload for pricing, signing, visual execution and events.
• Review performance metrics and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
