Job summary

Dallas Independent School District is seeking a Director II (226 Days) to design and oversee district-wide Career and Technical Education initiatives, align programs with TEKS, and lead partnerships with state, regional education bodies and the Dallas workforce.

You will supervise the CTE department, manage resources and grants, coordinate with campuses, and ensure federal/state compliance to support college and career readiness for students.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education or related field required.
• Valid teaching certification preferred.
• Experience in administrative management and program development.
• Knowledge of CCR/CTE laws and district actions.
• Ability to lead district-wide initiatives and programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead CTE curriculum development aligned to TEKS and district needs.
• Supervise CTE department activities, including hiring and training.
• Plan budgets, monitor grants, and manage program funding.
• Engage campuses and external partners for CTE programs and dual credit.
• Communicate project plans, milestones, and outcomes to stakeholders.
