Job summary

Dallas Independent School District is seeking a Coordinator III (226 Days) in Dallas, TX to coordinate CTE programs across departments and ensure alignment with TEA-approved pathways. The role supports work-based learning initiatives and district goals.

Responsibilities include designing professional development for CTE teachers, building industry partnerships for internships, planning field trips, and facilitating dual credit opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
• Master's Degree in Educational Administration or Business Administration preferred.
• CTE teaching certification preferred; ability to collaborate with district departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the CTE Department, Career Institutes, Teaching and Learning, and School Leadership to align programs.
• Align Career and Technical Education work with TEA-approved CTE Pathways.
• Evaluate and improve CTE programs with teachers, partners, and campus leaders.
• Assist with certification and dual credit opportunities for the CTE Teachers.
• Inform teachers of current trends affecting CTE curriculum and instruction.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement college and career field trips for CTE students.
• Develop quality PD experiences for CTE teachers.
• Establish business partners for work-based learning and internships.
