Job summary

Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) Metro-North Railroad seeks a Director of Individuals and Corporations NY to orchestrate planning, design, construction, and inspection of projects on or near railroad property, ensuring safety and compliance with state and federal codes.

You will lead a team of engineers and inspectors, coordinate with planning and real estate, manage budgets, and serve as a liaison with MTA C&D. Telework eligibility exists; travel as needed.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management.
Minimum of 10 years in construction and engineering management.
Minimum of 7 years managing professional staff and/or projects.
New York State Professional Engineer or Architect License; NYS Certified Code Enforcement Official preferred or ability to attain within six months.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, design, construction, and inspection of projects near railroad property.
Oversee coordination with Engineering, Legal, Risk Management, and Real Estate to ensure compliance and safety.
Manage a team of engineers, site managers, and inspectors; monitor budgets and schedules.
