Job summary

The Manager, Project Development for the Railroad Project Development unit at MTA Construction & Development will support planning, prioritization, scope definition, budget oversight, and lifecycle monitoring for a portfolio of capital projects. Collaboration with Metro-North and MTA divisions is essential.

Responsibilities include coordinating five-year programs, preparing environmental documentation, and ensuring consistency with corporate goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Urban Planning, Business, Public Policy, Construction Management, Finance/Economics, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience in Transportation, Construction, Infrastructure, Finance, Planning, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing Metro-North's five-year capital program and coordinate funding targets and strategies.
• Provide supporting analysis for developing the Metro-North capital program.
• Ensure alignment of future state of repair, replacements, system improvements, and expansions with planning goals.
