Our company is in an exciting growth phase where we are launching new products and reaching new markets. To strengthen our HR foundation to keep pace with that growth, we seek an energetic and motivated Director of HR with an entrepreneurial mindset to manage our HR activities. This role offers the opportunity to take on broader responsibilities, learn new skills, and contribute to our rapid growth. The position is primarily on-site with flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week.

Responsibilities include:

• HR Operations: Improve processes, oversee benefits, onboarding, leave management, policy development, and ensure compliance.
• Management Development: Mentor the HR team, support managers, and identify training opportunities.
• Talent Acquisition: Support proactive recruitment, especially for technical, scientific, and leadership roles.
• Culture and Communication: Enhance communication across the organization and use engagement data for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including talent acquisition, HRIS systems, and compliance knowledge.
• Interest in growth within a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
• Experience in small, high-growth, collaborative companies.
• Ability to handle ambiguity, exercise judgment, and adapt.
• Curiosity and ability to understand our business at a layman's level (no biotech/pharma experience required).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
