Our company is in an exciting growth phase where we are launching new products and reaching new markets. To keep strengthening our HR foundation to keep pace with that growth, we seek an energetic and motivated Director of HR with an entrepreneurial mindset to be responsible for the day-to-day management of our HR activities. This position is expected to be on site most of the week, but also has flexibility to work from home 1-2 days/week.

What you will do at Integral Molecular:

This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of our HR team and activities, with the potential to grow with the company’s growth plans over the next few years. Our priorities include:

  • HR Operations
    • Understand our current processes to inform how to improve them
    • Oversee benefits administration, onboarding, leave management, and other administrative processes
    • Manage policy development and HR compliance
  • Management Development
    • Provide direction, mentorship/coaching, career development, and performance management for current HR team (currently 2 in TA, 1 in ER, and 1 in benefits admin)
    • Be a resource and support for all INTG managers
    • Identify training and coaching opportunities to help managers grow across the company
  • Talent Acquisition:
    • Support a proactive talent acquisition and onboarding process
    • Participate in TA for specialty recruitment of technical, scientific, and leadership roles
  • Culture and Communication
    • Work with managers/leaders to ensure effective communication mechanisms throughout the organization
    • Leverage internal engagement survey data to drive continuous improvement of the INTG culture
The successful candidate will have:

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including:
    • Direct experience in talent acquisition
    • Experience interfacing with HRIS systems
    • Knowledge of the HR compliance / regulatory environment
  • A demonstrated interest in learning and growing in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment
  • Successful experience working in a small, high growth, collaborative company environment
  • Successful experience dealing with ambiguity, exercising excellent judgement, and demonstrating adaptability and flexibility
  • A keen sense of curiosity and an ability to understand our business (at the layman’s level, no scientific or biotech/pharma experience is necessary)
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills (up/down/across) as well as excellent communication skills
