In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for aligning the People and Culture function with business goals, leading global HR initiatives, and driving transformation across our operations. You will partner closely with senior leaders across regions to ensure we attract, retain, and develop top talent while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and inclusion.

As HR Director, you will report to the Managing Director for Tietoevry Banking and serve as a trusted advisor to the global leadership team, playing an integral role in organizational growth and change.

Openness drives transparent communication and continuous learning. Trust empowers our people to take ownership and collaborate with confidence.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and execute the global HR strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives across all regions
  • Partner with senior leaders to support business transformation, organizational development, and growth initiatives
  • Lead global change management efforts and drive continuous improvement in HR processes and practices
  • Oversee employee relations and industrial relations, ensuring compliance with local labour laws and collective agreements in multiple jurisdictions
  • Act as a strategic advisor on workforce planning, leadership development, succession planning, and talent management at a global scale
  • Analyze global HR data and provide insights to inform strategic decisions and enhance organizational effectiveness
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across markets
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues worldwide to drive consistency, innovation, and best practices across the HR function
  • Lead, coach, and develop regional HR teams to deliver both operational excellence and strategic impact

Who you are:

  • Proven track record in a senior HR leadership role, ideally as an HR Director or Head of HR in an international organization
  • Experience leading HR across multiple countries and working within complex, matrixed environments
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance global consistency and local adaptation
  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale change and transformation projects
  • Excellent leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering with executive leadership
  • Data-driven approach with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable leading through complexity and ambiguity
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral
  • Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent

We offer:

  • A strategic global leadership role with the opportunity to shape the future of HR in a growing international company
  • A dynamic, collaborative, and innovative work environment spanning multiple regions
  • Support from a highly skilled global HR team
  • A culture built on transparency, trust, and knowledge sharing
  • Continuous learning and professional development opportunities
  • Flexible working arrangements and focus on work-life balance

This position requires occasional international travel.
