Job summary

Britebound, a Boston-based national nonprofit, seeks a Director of HRIS & Total Rewards to lead HR technology, data integrity, benefits, and compensation. This hands-on leadership role requires deep UKG Pro expertise, strategic roadmap development, and strong collaboration with Payroll, Finance, IT, and Talent teams to ensure payroll continuity and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in HRIS/HR technology with hands-on admin experience.
• 5+ years benefits administration leadership including renewals.
• 3+ years direct staff management experience; coaching and development.
• Progressive HRIS/total rewards leadership spanning data, controls, and cross-functional projects.
• Experience directing HRIS evaluation, selection, implementation, or major modernization.

Responsibilities

• Set and deliver the HR technology roadmap aligned with People and Culture priorities.
• Own UKG Pro as the current HRIS; manage configuration, reporting, integrations, upgrades, and vendor support.
• Lead requirements gathering, vendor evaluations, cost and risk comparisons, and recommendations.
• Oversee potential replacement implementation: design, data conversion, testing, training, cutover, stabilization.
• Maintain controls, access, audit trails, retention practices, and data security.
• Lead administration of health, welfare, retirement programs and annual open enrollment.
• Lead merit, market adjustments, promotions, and incentive cycles; ensure payroll coordination.
• Develop staff, set priorities, and partner with Payroll, Finance, IT and other leaders.
