WEX Inc. in Portland, ME seeks a Director, HR Business Partner to lead strategic workforce initiatives and advise the executive leadership team. You will shape organizational design, drive AI-enabled transformation, and mentor a small HR team.

The role requires 10+ years in HR leadership within global organizations, strong data-driven capabilities, and a track record of influencing senior leaders. Master’s degree and SPHR/SHRM-SCP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Experience in large global organizations and data-driven decision making.
• Strong track record in leading restructures and successful M&As.
• Ability to influence executives and act as a trusted advisor.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic partner to ELT/SLT, influencing leadership decisions.
• Lead organizational design initiatives to improve cross-functional velocity.
• Translate AI initiatives into practical workforce design and upskilling.
• Lead change management and corporate integrations with talent continuity.
• Design and execute data-backed talent strategies for leadership pipelines.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to customize programs.
• Provide prescriptive consulting using metrics and market trends.
