Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Herndon, VA, seeks a Director HR & WP Affiliate Governance to oversee governance and monitoring of HR & WP NA policies across Affiliates, mitigating risks and aligning with local laws.

The role serves as the regional M&A HR & WP focal point, partnering with COEs, leading due diligence, and coordinating with country Employment Lawyers to ensure compliance. Travel is up to 30% domestically and internationally; 80% onsite, 20% remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Advanced degree (MBA or Masters in HRM or related field) preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in HR, legal or related fields required.
• Experience with executive compensation and mobility preferred.

Responsibilities

• HR & WP Affiliate Governance: oversee governance across Affiliates in NA and ensure alignment with HR&WP strategy.
• Leads M&A regional HR&WP activities: support due diligence and integration for mergers, acquisitions or divestitures.
• Develops and maintains an effective HR policies framework compliant with labor laws and regional regulations.
• Engage with COEs and regional leaders to guide policy implementations and governance improvements.
