City Heights CDC in San Diego is seeking a Director of Housing & Supportive Services to lead housing stability and resident services, oversee eviction prevention, and drive related supportive programs with a focus on accessibility and trauma-informed service delivery.

The role guides a multidisciplinary team, ensures program performance and compliance, and expands affordable housing and community-serving space through real estate initiatives and strategic partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, public administration, nonprofit management, housing, real estate, or related field.
• At least five years of progressively responsible experience in housing, resident services, or related fields.
• Experience managing programs, contracts, grants, and budgets.
• Experience supporting or managing real estate transactions and development projects.
• Supervisory and team leadership experience with staff development.
• Strong relationship-building and communication across government, community, funders, and residents.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and trauma-informed service delivery.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership for housing stability, Resident Services, eviction prevention, supportive services, food security, emergency response, and related housing initiatives.
• Develop and monitor annual departmental goals, work plans, performance measures, and priorities.
• Identify emerging needs, risks, and opportunities and lead cross-departmental strategies.
• Serve as an active member of the leadership team and represent City Heights CDC with funders and government agencies.
