Job summary

Compass Family Services in San Francisco seeks a Senior Director of Housing Programs to guide five program teams and 40+ staff across scattered-site and site-based housing, eviction prevention, and related services. You will supervise five Program Directors and coordinate strategy with funders and city agencies to advance housing stability for families.

The role requires deep leadership, fiduciary oversight, and a commitment to trauma-informed, equitable services.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to Program Directors across multiple housing programs.
• Coordinate strategy across teams and with funders and city partners.
• Ensure services are trauma-informed and aligned with program goals.
• Manage contractual obligations and funding utilization with development team.
• Use data to improve program effectiveness and outcomes.
• Collaborate with other service areas to promote inclusive practices.
• Provide crisis intervention when needed.
