Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks a Director of Design & Construction to lead hotel projects across the Americas, ensuring Hyatt standards and brand consistency from concept through opening. This role partners with architects, contractors and internal teams, travels 30–40% to oversee sites, and guides evolving prototypical documents while mentoring others.

Formación

• 10+ years with long tenure working for or with hotel brands focusing on design and/or construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction management, engineering, interior architecture or related field required.
• Construction certifications and/or architecture license.

Responsabilidades

• Lead project reviews and dialogue to assist architects, contractors, and other outside consultants throughout the design & construction process.
• Be fully knowledgeable and conversant on Hyatt's established brand components, design documents and technical standards.
• Ensure adherence of standards are met in all phases of the project cycle through hotel opening.
• Liaise and interface with hotel project team in a collaborative, team-focused manner.
• Conduct strategic and valuable site visits both in person and virtually to oversee the construction process and guide projects successfully.
• Help determine in collaboration with internal development teams appropriate opportunities, boundaries, and flexibility for projects to be successful.
• Be knowledgeable and continue to learn about best practices, industry standards and new products as it relates to hotel design & construction.
• Assist in revising, maintaining, and evolving prototypical documentation, standards, and processes.
• Work in a cross-functional manner with internal teams to understand managed and franchised hotel design and operations holistically.
