Job summary

AbbVie in Irvine, California seeks a Director of Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) to lead end-to-end HEOR strategy for at least one asset or indication for US or international. You will guide project design, develop robust HEOR plans, and ensure alignment with product strategy across matrix teams.

This role requires strong leadership, executive communication, and the ability to translate HEOR evidence into commercial value.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in health economics or related discipline.
• PhD in Economics, Econometrics, or pharmacoepidemiology preferred.
• Fellowship experience in health field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversees design and conduct of HEOR projects and communicates findings and strategic impact.
• Leads HEOR strategic direction in alignment with cross-functional partners.
• Manages end-to-end HEOR book of work from strategy to content pull-through.
• Ensures partnerships with HEOR COE functions to maintain a strong HEOR voice in meetings.
• Engages with senior leaders in cross-functional settings.
