AbbVie in Boston seeks a Director, Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) to lead the development and execution of HEOR strategies for one or more assets and to represent HEOR on cross‑functional teams. You will oversee end‑to‑end HEOR work, partner with COE functions, and present findings to senior leaders, with potential direct reports.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in health economics or related discipline.
7+ years in HEOR or related field; Master’s with PhD preferred.
PhD in Economics, Econometrics, or pharmacoepidemiology preferred with relevant experience.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and engaging senior leadership.
Pharma industry experience in pipeline development is a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee design and conduct of HEOR projects and communicate findings to internal and external audiences.
Provide product leadership to HEOR strategy in line with cross‑functional partners.
Ensure end‑to‑end delivery of HEOR work from strategy to content pull‑through.
Foster strong partnerships with HEOR COE functions for a cohesive HEOR voice.
Engage with senior leaders and maintain executive presence in cross‑functional settings.
