Job summary

AbbVie in Florham Park, NJ, seeks a seasoned HEOR Director to lead development and execution of HEOR programs across on-market and pipeline assets, interfacing with cross-functional teams and executive leadership. You will shape brand/asset strategies, ensure alignment with product plans, and drive high-impact, evidence-based decisions.

The role requires an advanced health/biomedical degree and a track record in pharma, with extensive experience in regulatory, HTA, and regulatory landscapes,

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in health/biomedical field (MD/PharmD/MS in Economics or Econometrics)
• 10+ years with Master’s or 7+ years with PhD; fellowship acceptable
• Experience leading complex products and/or clinical development in pharma
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory, HTA and PR&A landscapes; cross-functional leadership

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and execution of HEOR programs for on-market and pipeline assets
• Lead HEOR strategy in cross-functional teams and engage senior leadership
• Define global development strategy for new or marketed products
• Direct end-to-end delivery of HEOR work across portfolio to align with product strategy
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure scientific integrity of studies
• Engage with HTA bodies, payors, and external stakeholders
• Possibly manage two or more direct reports

Education

MD/PharmD/MS in Economics

Ten+ years of work experience (Masters) / seven+ years (PhD)
