Job summary

Invenergy LLC, headquartered in Chicago, seeks a Director, Interconnections and Grid Analysis to develop delivery solutions for utility-scale projects and monitor transmission expansion plans. You will assist sales and manage interconnection functions with PJM, NYISO and ISONE regions.

Responsibilities include leading interconnection activities, coordinating with utilities, and performing power flow analyses while guiding cross-functional teams across development, regulatory, asset management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in transmission system planning or operations (power flow, short circuit, stability).
• Experience with PJM, NYISO, or ISONE interconnection processes.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact for large-scale generation interconnection activities.
• Manage interconnection queue and coordinate with developers, finance, and consultants.
• Interface with ISOs, RTOs, and Transmission Service Providers; coordinate stakeholder meetings.
