Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. seeks a Director, Government Pricing to lead all federally mandated price calculations (AMP, Best Price, ASP, VA Non-FAMP) and oversee annual reporting and audit validation.

Responsibilities span GP checks, reimbursement operations, regulatory compliance, cross-functional partnerships, data management with Power BI, and dispute resolution to reduce manual work while enhancing strategic analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical/biotech.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA/CPA/JD highly preferred.
• Strong leadership and audit/compliance experience.
• Experience with government pricing programs and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead all federally mandated price calculations (AMP, Best Price, ASP, VA Non-FAMP) and manage quarterly/annual reporting.
• Institute GP checks for accuracy, validate modeling setups, and assess business impact of GP updates.
• Oversee government rebates/discounts and FSS/DoD contracts.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state requirements and CMS guidance; develop compliant contracting language.
• Collaborate with Contract Operations, Market Access, Gross-to-Net, and Pricing Committees.
• Drive data visibility through Power BI dashboards and proactive reporting.
• Lead dispute resolution with Medicaid agencies to reduce manual workload and focus on strategic analysis.
