Leidos in Reston, Virginia, is seeking a Director of Contracts to lead the Contracts function for the Government Services & Solutions Business Area. You will manage a team of contracts professionals, oversee proposals, negotiate terms, assess risks, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and Leidos policies while coordinating with senior stakeholders.

The role requires a Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of related experience (or a Master’s with 10+ years).

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• 12+ years of related experience with degree OR 10+ years with a Master’s degree.
• Expert knowledge in government contracting with emphasis on contract execution and proposals.
• Experience with ID/IQ contracts and FAR/DFARS.
• Strong negotiation skills for complex terms and conditions.
• Experience supervising or leading teams (minimum 4 years).
• Ability to manage geographically dispersed teams.

• Mentor staff and counsel business area leadership on contracts.
• Set performance goals and conduct reviews for the contracts team.
