Job summary

Qualifications

• Secret clearance eligibility required.
• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of related experience or Master's with 10+ years.
• Expert knowledge in government contracting and contract execution.
• Experience with ID/IQ contracts.
• Excellent negotiation skills for complex terms and conditions.
• 4+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS and NDAs/teaming agreements.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with executives and teams.
• OCI risk analysis capability.
• Ability to build internal/external relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of contracts professionals at all stages of career development.
• Provide oversight and review of all proposals, monitoring significant contracts, leading and/or assisting in negotiations.
• Resolve contract or personnel performance issues and identify mitigations.
• Coach team on negotiating terms and provide mentorship to staff.
• Set performance goals and conduct reviews for career development and retention.
• Interact with program managers, financial analysts, and customer leadership.
• Collaborate with sector and Leidos contract departments across the organization.
• Attend early capture sessions to determine information and requirements for contracts work.
• Support internal/external audit activities and data requests.
• Demonstrate Leidos values and drive compliance with policies.
