Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a Director, Technology, AI & Contact Center to lead the global procurement strategy for technology spend and AI initiatives. You will manage contracts, vendor relationships, and cross-functional partnerships across senior leadership to drive value and risk management.

The role focuses on shaping category roadmaps, delivering cost savings, and driving transformative S2P programs while leading a high-performing team in a dynamic travel tech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology, software, cloud, AI or contact center sourcing with measurable results.
• Proven ability to build stakeholder communities and multi-year roadmaps.
• Skilled in negotiating large, complex vendor agreements and managing relationships.
• Experience leading high-performing teams as a line manager and subject authority.
• Ability to translate enterprise strategy into actionable category plans and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Set the multi-year category strategy for Technology, AI and Contact Center spend, delivering savings and margin expansion.
• Sponsor and steer transformation initiatives such as tooling and new operating models with measurable outcomes.
• Lead negotiation of strategic contracts and partnerships with high bar for terms and renewals.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and drive 360-degree vendor decision-making.
• Turn enterprise strategy into clear category roadmaps and explain trade-offs to executives.
• Champion agentic AI and automation in sourcing workflows across the S2P roadmap.
• Lead and develop managers and senior ICs to build a capable, engaged team.
• Represent Global Procurement & AP with Finance, Legal, Technology and business leaders.
