Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a senior leader in HR Technology to design and operate a scalable global HR tech ecosystem.

You will partner with Employee Experience and IT to shape the roadmap, mentor a high-performing HRIS team, and drive continuous improvement across processes and platforms. The role requires a deep background in Workday, data governance, and analytics, with strong communication to stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• 10–12+ years of progressive experience in HR Technology with leadership experience.
• Deep understanding of global HR systems, processes, and data governance.
• Ability to think strategically and contribute to global programs, frameworks, and process improvements.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights and make data-driven recommendations.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end HR technology projects including requirements gathering, design, UAT and deployment.
• Partner effectively with Data & Analytics teams to uphold data integrity, security, and compliance across HR platforms.
• Recognized SME in HR technology with ability to collaborate across departments and solve complex business challenges.
• Led and mentored teams of HR technology professionals in dynamic environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the continual design and implementation of a scalable, global HR technology ecosystem that supports operational excellence and employee experience.
• Provide strategic input into the HR technology roadmap in partnership with Employee Experience leads and other stakeholders.
• Build, lead and inspire a high-performing team of HRIS analysts and HR technology professionals.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Drive the enhancement of HR processes to support scalability, automation, and CIP across the function.
• Apply emerging technologies, including AI tools, to improve process execution and service delivery.
• Demonstrate deep technical expertise in Workday; leading Workday implementations or transformations is highly desirable.
• Experience with platforms such as ServiceNow, Eightfold, and other HR technologies is a strong plus.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, and IT to translate business needs into technology solutions.
• Incorporate stakeholder requirements into HR technology strategy and execution plans.
• Manage intake, prioritization and delivery of HR technology and CIP projects.
• Oversee execution of HR technical initiatives in partnership with IT and cross-functional teams.
