Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a Director of Global Compensation (Executive and Broad-Based) to lead the design, implementation, and governance of compensation programs across the enterprise. The role reports to the Total Rewards COE and partners with HR, Legal, and Finance to ensure equity and compliance.

You will steer global policy projects, advise senior leaders, and manage cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, board-ready compensation practices worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate compensation or total rewards.
• 5+ years in designing and managing executive compensation and public company incentive structures.
• Experience preparing materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board.
• Familiarity with SEC regulations and proxy disclosure processes.
• Experience leading multi-regional compensation architectures globally.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, design, and governance of broad-based and executive compensation programs.
• Partner with Legal and Finance on executive disclosures and proxy statements.
• Maintain global job architecture and title conventions across job families.
• Oversee annual compensation planning, merit cycles, and equity programs.
• Guide mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures in total rewards alignment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compensation into talent initiatives.
