Job summary

Scotiabank Global Banking & Markets in the United States is seeking a Director, Commercial Banking, U.S. & Multinational Coverage to lead the onboarding and cross-border banking delivery for Canadian multinational clients.

The role partners with PAMs, GTB, Compliance and Risk to deliver enterprise-wide relationship management, KYC and product implementation, while expanding deposits, payments and treasury solutions.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business or economics or equivalent.
• 5+ years in banking, preferably in commercial/GBM.
• Strong sales, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of cash management, deposits and payments.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and cross-border coverage strategies for multinational clients.
• Develop and manage holistic global account plans to grow relationships.
• Collaborate with Operations, GTB, Compliance and Risk teams to resolve onboarding and service challenges.
• Develop sales plans and identify prospects across jurisdictions.
• Ensure high-quality client experience and governance across onboarding and KYC.
